Pope Francis has issued the call for all Catholics to become "missionary disciples," meaning that we all need to heed Jesus' Great Commission and "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" (Matt 28:19).
The main way the Catholic Church has for welcoming converts into the faith is the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. At Holy Family a group of parishioners guide those discerning joining the Catholic Church. The RCIA leaders coordinate instruction classes for adults interested in the faith and walk with them on the journey.
Additionally, members of this same group have become active in the community attending town events to promote the faith and Holy Family Parish.
